This notice covers the website arcwavetechnologies.com and email you send to the company. The Gistmo app and gistmo.app have their own privacy policy, which applies when you use Gistmo.

Who we are

Arcwave Technologies Limited ("Arcwave", "we") is a company incorporated in Nigeria with its registered office at A5, 3rd Floor, 150 Sir Sam Jonah Way, Lugbe, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory. What this website collects

This website does not use cookies, analytics scripts, advertising trackers or embedded social media.

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, requested page, time, browser type and referring page for each request. These logs are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse, and are kept for a short period by the provider.
• Contact form. If you use the form on this site, the name, organisation, email address and message you enter are sent to us by email through a transactional email provider acting on our behalf. The website itself keeps no copy.
• Fonts. Typefaces are served from this website, so no request goes to a third party to display them.

When you contact us

If you email any address on arcwavetechnologies.com or use the contact form, we keep your name, email address and the content of your message so we can reply and keep a record of the correspondence. Company email is hosted by Google Workspace. We keep correspondence for as long as it is relevant to the matter raised, and for legal and accounting records where required.

Why we are allowed to use this data

We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and responding to people who contact us, and on legal obligations where records must be kept. Where we ever ask for consent, we will say so clearly and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that host the website, deliver email on our behalf, and with authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Our hosting and email providers store data in data centres outside Nigeria, including in the European Union and the United States, under their standard contractual protections.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable form. Write to privacy@arcwavetechnologies.com. We will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data through it.

We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
